The Drycleaning Institute's Board of Directors changes every year to ensure the inflow of fresh perspectives and new ideas.
There are seven branch directors each serving a term of two years with half of the board retiring on alternate years. Additionally,
the Board may appoint two external directors with specific expertise to provide a good overall balance in key areas.... business,
marketing and promotion, legal and finance.
The day to day operations of the DIA are managed by the Management Committee, within the Strategic Plan developed by the Board, and the
key performance indicators by which management performance is measured. The Board's role is one of policy development and
governance.
